This page now lists SIDs in HVSC which have yet to have their RSID equivalent ripped for future HVSC updates. To be short, RSID format SIDs are only playable in Sidplay2 (or a real C64 using PSID64 to convert the .sid to a RUNnable C64 .prg file) and use real C64 samples rather than the old (and what now should be considered defunct) PlaySID sample methods.
The HVSC Team have already re-ripped around 300 old PlaySID sample SIDs in the RSID format, some of which are already in HVSC. However, help would be gratefully appreciated in ripping the remaining SIDs from the list.
In some cases, the intro sample tunes have been ripped and just need the
remaining tunes adding and one-filing. If you're interested in this task,

and he can send you the files as required.
